I had a fantastic time helping get out the vote at UCSB today, handing out info about state and local races to fellow students. We got a lot of smiles but what really impressed me were the number of "I voted" stickers, most people had already voted by early this afternoon.
I don't think I've gotten a sunburn in November before ... it was a wonderful California day, 70 degrees, with just a spattering of wispy clouds. A great day for democracy!
