I have been reminded that we are quite behind on posting to the blog. Fear not, we still document the exciting things that happen, we've just been really slow in writing about them...
At the end of January Joey and I took off to Canada for a long weekend, something we'd been threatening to do for some time. On one of the few icy mornings we've had this winter, we flew to Buffalo NY, which is on the State-side of the US-Canada border, and Christine picked us up. After a quick drive-by at Niagara Falls, and a mandatory stop at the Canadian 'Hot Shoppe' for roti, we got settled in chez Chrissy and Dave.
Over the course of the weekend we went to hockey/skating practice with Mikaili and Mackennen, shovelled snow (well, some of us did that anyhow), went to Toronto to see Les, Bruce et al., and had a lovely visit from Nicky and Dave, et al. We have vowed to repeat the experience soon, and also to catch the male cousins on our visit rotation.
Here is a tease of photos from our brief trip. I know for a fact that there are other photos in other people's cameras (there was much more posing than my camera seems to remember), so this album may be expanded at a future date...
Enjoy!
