Fire 2.0!

This ones much closer than the last one, it's burning in the Santa Barbara city limits and moving very quickly. These pictures are from a couple hours ago, it's now creeping over the ridge in the for ground of these pictures. Tons of smoke and lots of ash falling around our house. The winds are blowing sort of towards us, strong warm winds (it was going to be 80 and windy tomorrow).

We're also losing radio stations pretty fast, since the towers are up in the hills. Several buildings have been burned up in the hills.

 

 

We should be fine, there are a lot of fire hydrants between us and the fire. There are hundreds of trucks here already, CA is well prepared for wild fires! Helicopters are dropping ocean water, there are at least three in the air looping continuously.

It's gonna be a hot time in the old town tonight!

EDIT: Obviously we have power still ... it's been going off around town but we've been fine. Oh, and they just announced 15 "strike" teams are coming up from LA! They come up with such crazy names.
